Why Robert Valentine?

Because for many Scottish Americans — or people who just like the idea of a great family weekend — theHighland games comprise of a program of track and field events, piping and Highland dancing competitions and “Heavy Events,” like the Hammer Throw, and Tossing the Caber. And there’s plenty to eat and to see. 

With all of these great events and great times with friends, many folks get the pleasure of being entertained by “The Compere,” Robert  Valentine. Bob provides entertainment and laughter and tries his best make this event as special as a compere should.

Scottish people like to have fun, whether it be by their festivities, their appearance, or by their stories.  This website is designed to give you a little hint about what to expect, and about a lad who makes it great fun.
